The HXGM3-module board S30810-Q2942-X offers in connection to a HiPath 3750 or HiPath 3700 the following functions of the HiPath HG1500 Version 3.0:
- Connection of a local LANs to a HiPath 3000 and the connection with external LANs via ISDN- and DSL-interfaces on the HiPath 3000
- Classic functions, such as ISDN-and DSL-Routers with the additional function of media-gateways for the transmission of speech, fax and data
- Call-forwarding between IP-based networks (LAN, Intranet, Internet) and line-switched networks (ISDN, PSTN)
The module board HXGM3 is compatible with the HiPath HG1500 V2.0-module board HXGM2. A mixed installation of both module boards within one system is possible.
